About Us

Who We Are

Violence Against Men – Silence Kills, Speak Out is a dedicated non-governmental social organization recognized under Indian law. Our mission is to combat violence against both men and women, fostering a safe and just society for everyone. Operating extensively across India, we strive to be the voice for those who suffer in silence.

Violence against men remains one of the most underreported issues in society. Men, like women, can be victims of domestic violence, experiencing verbal, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Thousands of men endure such violence silently, often due to societal misconceptions and legal biases that predominantly prioritize women’s safety. Indian domestic violence laws frequently fail to acknowledge men as victims, perpetuating the harmful stereotype that men are inherently perpetrators and not victims.

Our mission is to empower underprivileged and marginalized communities across India by fostering participatory partnerships with individuals and organizations.
